TOC'S Rum Baba

A traditional Italian (or Polish) cake depending on who you ask. Legend says this cake was created by accident when the King threw it at a servant and it landed in rum and hence a new dessert was formed. It can be made with currants or raisins. Decorated with apricot preserves.  This is my rendition of this historical dessert.
